Welcome to this family history site that attempts to bring together all families with the surname Leeds. For the past 50 or more years, we have been gathering information from all parts of the globe, much of it random detail that has yet to be connected in any concrete fashion, to any particular Leeds family tree. Together with cousins Sheila Leeds and latterly with Michael, we have sketched out a tree with some confidence back to 1600 and also possibly (yet to be verified) back to the early 1500s. I am transcribing Leeds, Leede, Leedes, Lede, Ledis, Leades, Ledes, Ledys wills and inventories dating from 1471 and, when I have finished, there will be over 140 of them.
